1. Engagement with Dr. Geoff Ward, esteem author and professor of African and African American studies at Washington University

Dr. Geoff Ward will discuss his book, The Black Child Savers: Racial Democracy and Juvenile Justice, focusing on the historical efforts of Black women in the National Association of Colored Women (NACW) to protect African American youth.
