Tanya Miller, Executive Director with the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce, recently completed the CCEM Chamber Management Academy, a premier professional development program presented by the Chamber of Commerce Executives of Missouri (CCEM).
Held August 5β6, 2026, in Jefferson City, the two-day academy brought together chamber professionals from communities across Missouri to strengthen their leadership skills, exchange ideas, and gain practical strategies to better serve their members and local business communities.
The program featured sessions on board governance, membership recruitment and retention, marketing and communications, advocacy, public relations, economic development, sponsorship development, social media strategy, and generating non-dues revenue. Participants also had the opportunity to build valuable connections with chamber peers from across the state.
βThe Chamber Management Academy provided practical tools, fresh ideas, and valuable connections that I can immediately put to work in serving our members and community. I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn from experienced chamber leaders across Missouri.β
The CCEM Chamber Management Academy is designed for chamber professionals at every stage of their careers, providing foundational knowledge, best practices, and a statewide network of peers committed to advancing chamber excellence throughout Missouri.
The Chamber of Commerce Executives of Missouri (CCEM) is the professional association for Missouri chamber leaders. Through education, networking, and leadership development, CCEM equips chamber professionals with the knowledge, resources, and connections needed to strengthen their organizations and the communities they serve.
