Local Color Guard Team Wins 1st in Nixa Competition

The Spintronix Color Guard premiered their two competitive teams this weekend at a winter guard competition in Nixa. Both teams earned first place in their respective classes and have qualified for state championships. The world team has also qualified to attend world championships in Dayton, OH., April 7-9, 2022; a first in the organization’s 14-year history.

The Spintronix A team are two-time state champions and their membership consists of Cade Atchley of Salem, MO, Shay Moss of West Plains, MO, Jasmine Sabillion of Seymour, MO, Natalia Warnock of Cotter, AR, and Lola Combe of Paris, France.

The Spintronix World team is new this year and consists of Sam Wallace of Columbia, MO, Sydney Forck of Ashland, MO, Adam Hajeh of Willow Springs, MO, Sherra Vanderstine and Camryan Bishop of Ava, MO, Cheyenne Robison, Samantha Huffman, Megan Uminn, Shandon Gross, and Stephanie Watson all of West Plains, MO.

Spintronix is a performing arts organization based in Mountain View, MO since 2008. In addition to their competition teams they have been in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade every year since 2009, performed virtually for the European championships, hold training clinics across the country, and have online training that is used around the world on their website www.spintronixguard.org
