Local NPR Radio Station KSMU Mourns Loss of Long-Time Employee

Springfield, MO. – Local NPR broadcast station KSMU that is based on the campus in Missouri State University is mourning the loss of a long-time talent and employee, 67 year-old Randy Stewart.

Stewart started his work with KSMU back in 1976, and retired just earlier this year in March. KSMU has stated that Stewart passed away due to cancer.

Stewart was in charge of a weekly Friday morning show which spoke of community and arts events within the Ozarks, and produced weekend shows which featured classical and choral music.
