As Halloween approaches, law enforcement agencies across northern Arkansas are urging families to plan safe trick-or-treating routes. In compliance with the Arkansas Sex Offender Registration Act (Ark. Code Ann. §12-12-901 et seq.), sheriff’s offices in Marion, Izard, Sharp, Stone, Fulton, and Independence counties have released lists of addresses where registered Level 3 and Level 4 sex offenders reside.
Officials emphasize that these individuals are prohibited from participating in any Halloween activities, including handing out candy, decorating, or hosting events that involve contact with children.
