West Plains, MO. – The Ozarks Heritage Research Center in West Plains is offering a presentation to the public that’ll blend the Halloween spirit with pieces of Ozarks history this evening.
The speaker, Dawn Larsen, will present at 6:00 p.m. at the Garnett Library later today. This event is sponsored by the Ozarks Heritage Research Center and WPCA. Dawn will use her longtime personal and family experience to explore both new and old songs of the Ozarks that have a darker past, with some stories and tales thrown into the mix as well.
