West Plains, Mo. – A two-vehicle crash during the lunchtime rush hour in West Plains slowed traffic to a crawl on Thursday. The incident occurred at the intersection of K Highway and Jan Howard Expressway/US 63 at 11:42 a.m.
The two vehicles involved with the crash were a black Volkswagen Passat and a black Chevy HHR. The crash blocked north and south lanes of traffic, causing northbound vehicles to be detoured to Kentucky Ave.

According to West Plains Police on the scene, the male driver of the HHR refused medical treatment and the female driver of the Passat was taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare for treatment of injuries.
