Licking, MO. – A Licking man was seriously injured in a car accident on June 11th, at roughly 8:27 PM.
A 2013 Chevy Malibu was traveling on Highway 32, 5 miles East of Licking, when it crashed. The driver was Joseph Kaplan, 26 of Licking.

The crash occurred as Kaplan failed to navigate a curve, went off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected and went off the left side of the roadway, struck several trees and overturned.
Kaplan was transported by Air Ambulance to Cox South in Springfield for his serious injuries.
