Gainesville, MO. – Earlier this month, a man from Gainesville was arrested on a charge of animal abuse after bagging up seven puppies and putting them in a Gainesville City garbage dumpster.
The probable cause affidavit states that this took place on July 9th, with Ozark County Dispatch responding to a call of animal abuse taking place on Fourth Street in Gainesville.

Ronald Schrine was arrested, and admitted to not only bagging up the puppies, but putting them in the dumpster while knowing they were alive. When asked why, Schrine stated he didn’t see the issue because he didn’t want them and didn’t know what else to do with them.
Schrine was then booked and released, and is expected to appear in court on Tuesday, August 27th for his charge.
