Ozark County, Mo. – Tony Hager, 22 of Independence, was arrested Wednesday, January 19th at 1:44 PM, as reported by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. He is currently being held in the Ozark County Jail, and charges included felony murder in the second degree.
Tony Hager is believed to have been the shooter in the case of 25-year-old Austin Vines from Fenton. During the incident, officers found Vines and his boxer mix dog at home, both with gunshot wounds. Both succumbed to their injuries.
Hager is being held on a $250,000 bond. All arrestee’s are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
