Thayer, MO. – On May 25, 2022, the Mammoth Spring Chief of Police Jaimie Turnbough made a request for assistance to the Thayer Police Department in order to apprehend a wanted fugitive who was likely hiding on the other side of the state border.
Chief Turnbough provided information to the Thayer Police Department to the 800 block of Sunset St. in Thayer to apprehend Kevin E. McGath.

McGath was arrested without incident shortly after police arrived on-scene. After arrest, McGath was served with an Arkansas Bench Warrant for fifty(50) counts of Child Pornography Class C Felonies and ten(10) counts of Rape Class Y Felonies with a $500,000.00 cash only bond. Extradition to Arkansas was waived.
