Hartville, MO. – A man wanted by the Texas County Sheriff’s Office and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) was arrested early Tuesday in Wright County.
Following a traffic stop on Highway E just before 2 a.m. on June 7, the driver of a vehicle identified as Seth Schafer, age 45 of Hartville, was arrested. Schafer has a no bond warrant from Texas County on a drug-related offence and an active warrant from the ATF. He was on probation/parole for possession and assault on law enforcement. During a search of the vehicle, a bag of suspected methamphetamine was discovered following a K9 officer being deployed and alerted on the vehicle.
Schafer was taken to the Wright County Jail.
