Mansfield, MO. – The man who was charged for a drunk driving incident that killed a Mansfield firefighter has been sentenced in court.
Kody Skaggs, 22 of Mansfield, was sentenced to 14 years in prison as a result of the DWI which resulted in the death of another person.

The original accident occurred on April 1st of last year on Business Route 60. The vehicle Skaggs struck was parked and being driven by Michael Bryson, 39 of Hartville, who was seriously injured. Fatally injured in the crash was Justin Sanders, 31, who served as both a firefighter and EMS in the area.
