Margie Griffin, executive assistant at Missouri State University-West Plains, retired from her position May 1 after nearly 25 years of service.
Griffin joined the university’s staff as a clerk in academic administration on July 24, 1995. Her position was reclassified to administrative clerk on Aug. 1, 1998; to administrative secretary on Jan. 1, 1999; to academic administrative assistant II on July 1, 2008; then to executive assistant I on July 16, 2010.

She will receive a framed certificate noting her years of service and a piano arch mantle clock.
