Yellville, AR. – Marion County law enforcement responded to a call on Monday that led to a potentially explosive device being discovered.
Marion County Deputies were the first to respond. After locating the device, it was deemed a possible explosive, and additional assistance was requested to handle the disposal of the device. Three individuals from the Bentonville Police Department Bomb Squad arrived later and rendered the device inert.

The device was found in a field near Lazy Acres Road, on the northern edge of Marion County.
