Flippin, AR. – Today, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office announced that a death investigation has begun after the body of a female was found at a residence near Flippin, AR.

DEATH INVESTIGATION
On April 3, 2024, at approximately 5:30 PM, Marion County deputies responded to a residence at 419 MC 7057 in Flippin regarding a deceased person call. Upon arrival, deputies located the body of an adult female and requested assistance from Investigators in the Criminal Investigation Division. Investigators from Marion County and the Arkansas State Police responded to the scene and began a death investigation. After completing their work at the scene, the Marion County Coroner was called to take possession of the victim’s body for transfer to the State Medical Examiner’s Office who will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
The victim has been identified as ALISHA M. GAUGER, W/F, Date of Birth: 08/22/1982. At the time of the death, GAUGER was living at the residence 419 MC 7057. The investigation is ongoing.
