Strafford, MO. – A man from Marshfield, MO, has escaped a vehicle collision as a pedestrian with only moderate injuries, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The report and investigation of this incident come courtesy of Troop D’s Trooper A.W. Poulson, who listed the time and date of the accident at 11:01 pm on April 10th, on I-44 in Strafford.
Timmy Hopkins, a 24-year-old Marshfield resident, was standing in the roadway and was struck by an eastbound GMC Sierra driven by Charles Higdon, age 75 of Strafford, Missouri.
Hopkins was transported after the incident to Cox South in Springfield for treatment.
