An 18‑year‑old Marshfield woman was injured Saturday morning in a two‑vehicle crash on Missouri 5, two miles north of Ava. The Highway Patrol says the southbound Subaru she was driving attempted to pass but failed to yield to a northbound Toyota Sienna, causing the vehicles to collide.
The teen driver suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Cox South Medical Center. The 45‑year‑old Squires man driving the Sienna was not reported injured.
