Missouri – The Missouri Department of Conservation is reminding the public that beginning at the end of this month, the official start of the Missouri Frogging season will start.
The official dates for this year’s frogging season are June 30th through October 31st, allowed for anyone with a fishing or small-game hunting permit.
The daily limit is eight frogs of both bullfrogs and green frogs. The possession limit is 16 total for both species combined. Only the daily limit may be possessed near or on waterways. The daily limit resets at midnight every night.
Despite a fishing or small-game permit being required, this does not apply to those who are 15 and under, or 65 and older.
Lastly, the use of artificial light is allowed while frogging.
