Meeting Set for Friends of the Garnett Library

The Friends of the Garnett Library will hold their next meeting on Friday, May 2, with a focus on the organization’s annual report and a Garnett Library update. The meeting will take place from noon to 1 p.m. at the Garnett Library, located at 304 W. Trish Knight St. in West Plains.

Attendees will hear from Friends President Carla Neff, who will present a summary of the organization’s activities over the past year. Following the annual report, Rebekah McKinney, Director of Library Services, will provide updates on recent developments and initiatives at the Garnett Library.

Organizers invite both members and non-members to attend. “Everyone is welcome to attend,” they said in a statement. “We welcome you as a guest, or you can find out about joining the organization at the meeting.”

A lunch will be served at the event for a cost of $10, payable at the door. Those wishing to eat are asked to make a reservation by Monday, April 28, by calling 417-255-7940 or emailing FriendsofGarnettLibrary@MissouriState.edu.
