Memphis Woman Killed in Pursuit Crash near Mansfield

Mansfield, MO. – A Memphis woman was killed when a vehicle being pursued by law enforcement crashed on Thursday, June 9, 2022. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred at 11:03 a.m. on Cravens Road, three miles east of Mansfield.

A 2008 Cadillac CTS driven by Ricky Arnold, age 29 of Memphis, Tn., was attempting to elude law enforcement when the westbound vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned, partially ejecting the passenger, Lameika Dixson, age 38 of Memphis, Tn.

Arnold suffered serious injuries and was air lifted to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment. Dixson was pronounced dead at the scene by the Wright County Coroner, Benn Hurtt.

This marks the 10th fatality for MSHP Troop G in 2022, compared to 12 at the same time in 2021.
