MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. — The Mountain Home Police Department is urging citizens to remove valuables from their vehicles and to lock the doors of unattended vehicles following several vehicle entries and thefts.
Police department officials say there have been 12 recent reports of vehicle entries. Most of those have involved unlocked vehicles, taken place in residential areas and have happened after 8 pm.
Some of the items stolen include weapons, money, identification cards, membership cards, watch, prescription drug, laptop, checkbook, knife, and a safe, according to department officials.
