A 66‑year‑old man from Minnesota was injured in a motorcycle crash west of Alton Wednesday.
The Highway Patrol says the rider was heading west on U.S. 160 around 12:30 p.m. when he came around a curve and ran off the right side of the roadway. His 2004 Yamaha motorcycle had moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

The driver, from Monticello, Minnesota, was wearing a safety device and suffered minor injuries. He was taken by Oregon County Ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains.
