Houston, Mo. – A Texas County teen missing since December 22 has been located safe and an arrest has been made connected to her disappearance.
15-year-old Karissa Lynn Lilly was recovered safe and unharmed from a residence in the 3900 block of Daniel Lane in Birch Tree, Missouri on December 28 with the assistance of the Houston Police Department and the Shannon County Sheriff’s Department.

The biological mother of Lilly, Christa Halstead, was placed under arrest and charged with Felony Interfering with Custody. Halstead was held in the Shannon County Jail on a $5,000 Cash or Surety bond. The teen girl was released back into state care.
