Missouri – Money from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) has facilitated a 400 million dollar plan from Mike Parson to expand broadband access statewide.
The director of the Missouri Office of Broadband Development, BJ Tanksley, says, during an interview with Show Me Today, he and his team are working to increase broadband access in every corner of the state affecting hundreds of thousands of Missourians.
As this plan goes into place, they do not plan to become providers themselves. He also says he needs to hire more creative people to help contribute their expertise. If you’re interested, you can visit mocareers.mo.gov.
