West Plains, MO. – This morning, May 5th of 2022, West Plains Police and Fire Departments, and the South Howell County Ambulance, worked an accident that occurred on US Route 63 & Bill Verdon Boulevard. At this time, we do not know the extent of injuries or the exact amount of people involved.
Initial reports suggest that roughly 4-6 people were in the accident, and injuries are at least moderate. Drivers and passengers with injuries were transported to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment.

The accident appears to have happened at the intersection, with the collision happening as one or more drivers attempted to make a left turn.
