Summersville, MO. – A 76-year-old Houston, MO. resident was hospitalized after a crash that occurred on Saturday, September 30th.
This weekend crash was reported on by Trooper L.J. Combs of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
The rider in this accident, identified as James Wilson, 76 of Houston, was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle when he came upon and crashed into a deer on Highway 17, six miles South of Summersville. The collision happened at 6:40am, and the Harley was totaled during the accident.
Wilson suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital via ground ambulance services for treatment. He was wearing a safety device.
