Mountain Grove, MO. – A man from Mountain Grove has been arrested and is facing multiple felony charges after using a vehicle to run another off a road and into a ravine.
This event happened on Thursday, September 7th, when Texas County 911 Dispatchers received information of a family disturbance on Highway AM near Mountain Grove where a man at the residence threatened to shoot the others. Officers were dispatched, but before they could arrive, one party attempted to leave the residence in a vehicle.
The belligerent male then used a vehicle to ram the other, forcing it off the road and into a ravine on Hidden Valley Road, where those inside were stuck.
The suspect, identified as Matthew Wade, age 41, then fled into Mountain View, abandoned his vehicle, and evaded officers. He was later taken into custody the next day on September 8th.
Wade is facing 4 charges of Felony 2nd Degree Assault, Felony 1st Degree Tampering with a motor vehicle, Felony Leaving the Scene of an Accident Involving Physical Injury, Operating a Motor Vehicle in a Careless or Imprudent Manner, No Insurance, and Displayed or Possessed Motor Vehicle Plates of Another Person.
