Mountain Grove, MO. – Ozarks Healthcare is continuing its focus on bringing health specialty services to its locations in surrounding communities with the latest addition of rheumatology services at its location in Mountain Grove.
Dr. Arif Ahmed and Dr. Sathish Itikyala, rheumatologists at Ozarks Healthcare Rheumatology, can diagnosis and treat musculoskeletal diseases and systemic autoimmune conditions commonly referred to as rheumatic diseases on site at Ozarks Healthcare in Mountain Grove. Diseases and conditions that are under the rheumatology umbrella can affect joints, muscles, and bones and cause pain, swelling, stiffness, and even deformity.
Diagnosis of such a condition often starts with a visit to a primary care provider. Dr. Sarah Williams provides primary care at Ozarks Healthcare in Mountain Grove, and Stephan Yost, physician’s assistant (PA) provides walk-in care. Patients will need a referral from a provider to use rheumatology services from Ozarks Healthcare, but can call Ozarks Healthcare’s Rheumatology Clinic (located in West Plains) at 417-256-1764 to have any questions answered.
