Mountain Grove, MO. – Two people from Mountain Grove have sustained injuries, one fatally so, in a crash on the morning of Wednesday, March 27th, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
Reading the crash report, the decedent victim in this accident was identified as Jamie Holloway, a 29-year-old female who was not wearing a safety device at the time of the accident. This accident took place on Highway AM east of Mountain Grove, when a Peterbilt tractor was stopped on the roadway while the operator was working on it. Holloway, driving a Nissan Pathfinder, struck the rear end of the tractor. One 4-year-old passenger sustained minor injuries in the accident, and was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
The time of the crash was 7:50am, less than a mile east of Mountain Grove city limits. The fatally injured victim was pronounced deceased at 7:54am by Wright County Coroner, Ben Hurtt.
