Mountain Home Man Arrested After Domestic Assault on Husband

Flippin, AR. – A man from Mountain Home is facing a criminal charge of domestic assault after punching his husband in the mouth, breaking his jaw, and knocking out a tooth.

According to the probable cause affidavit, this event occurred on May 8th, and investigations began when the victim called the Marion County Sheriff’s Office after he was struck. The victim stated that Chase Pollard, 33 of Mountain Home, arrived after he had just returned from a trip from Springfield. When the victim told Pollard to leave and turned to walk away, Pollard approached and punched him in the mouth. The injury is stated to require corrective oral surgery to heal.

Pollard was arrested on 2nd Degree Domestic Assault, a felony. Bond is set at $10,000. Pollard additionally was arrested earlier this year for another instance of domestic violence, and for other crimes in 2021 and 2019.
