Mountain Home, AR. – The Mountain Home Police Department took to social media earlier today, warning the public about a potential scam that could be making its way to your mailbox.
According to the announcement, residents are receiving mail from what appears to be the National Police Association for a petition on a “The Quality of Life Policing”. As it stands, the Mountain Home PD claim no association with this peition, and have yet to credibly identify the mailer. As such, they are warning the public to disregard the letters, and are reminding the public that no law enforcement agency will call or mail you asking for donations.
