Mountain Home, AR. – The week of May 6 through 10, the annual spring clean up inside the Mountain Home city limits will occur. All items will need to be placed on the curbside by 6 a.m. on the mornings of regular trash pick-up days beginning that Monday.
Methvin Sanitation and Waste Connection put together the spring clean-up day for large items only including furniture, mattresses, freon-free appliances, toys, bikes without tires, push/self-propelled lawnmowers without oil or gas, tools, bagged clothes, metals less than 4ft in length and under 50 lbs, carpet less than 4ft in length and rolled up and tied, and fencing and lumber less than 4ft in length.
They will not take any electronics, yard waste, tires, paint, vehicle batteries, or construction debris. The spring cleaning collection services will only be provided to the people within city limits.

This weekend, May 3 and 4, Mountain Home is also having the city-wide yard sale. This event is open to all Mountain Home city and country residents and the $5.00 yard sale permit fee will be waived.
