Mountain View/Birch Tree, MO. – The Mountain View/ Birch Tree R-III School district announced yesterday that they are currently deciding whether or not to reduce their school week from 5 days to 4.
The school is taking the opinion of the public on this in the form of a survey that will only be open until the 27th. For parents or concerned individuals who wish to have their voice heard, do so by by clicking here and participating in the survey.

Currently, the school is looking to eliminate Mondays from their schedule, with their reasoning being that most legal holidays are on a Monday, and that Monday is the preferred day off for other schools that have begun a 4-day week.
