Mountain View, MO. – A female driver from Mountain View is recovering in West Plains after a two-vehicle collision happened on Highway 17.
This crash occurred four miles North of Mountain View, MO., when a Honda Civic pulled into the path of a GMC Colorado. The Colorado was being driven by an 18-year-old driver from Summersville who was unharmed in the accident. The driver of the Honda, however, sustained moderate injuries. Kaitlin Biermann, a 28-year-old from Mountain View, was taken to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment.

The crash was at 5:15 pm on July 19, 2023, and both drivers were wearing their safety devices.
This accident was investigated by Master Sergeant R.M. Greenan of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
