The celebration begins at 11 a.m. with free pool admission, a watermelon‑eating contest at Wayside Park, a car show at the SBU parking lot, and the Rotary Hog Roast while supplies last. Afternoon activities include face painting at the Community Center, food trucks, and local vendors.
The “Stars, Stripes & Small Town Pride” parade steps off at 6 p.m., followed by live music from Brandy Lee at the gazebo from 6:30 to 8:30. The night concludes with a fireworks show at the Mountain View airport at dark.
