Mountain View, West Plains, and Surrounding Areas – Have you noticed the overcrowding in your local pet shelters and their need for help? Well, the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce has and is hosting an event that will hopefully help out the local rescues and animal shelters.
This event will take place on August 31, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Mountain View Community Center. The Chamber of Commerce is calling all licensed rescues, animal shelters, and animal control officers to this event. They are also inviting businesses or people who sell pet food, supplies, and products so this event can be a one-stop shop for those who adopt an animal and those wanting to purchase things for their current animals. The public is invited to attend and find a loving partner, friend, and perfect addition to their family in the form of a pet. They hope to help these rescues and shelters with overcrowding by getting as many animals adopted as possible.
The current businesses and shelters attending with our furry friends are Ozark Pet Rescue, Furever Homes and Rescue Connection, a pet portrait artist for owners to get the best picture of their dog or cat, Urban Dogg, Mountain Grove Animal Control, and Lorelei’s Groom Room. To all businesses and rescues, the Chamber is still accepting signups to be there. If you are interested email chambermvmo@gmail.com or call (417) 934-2794.
Go down to this one-stop shop and find yourself an animal and help out with the local shelter overcrowding.
