Eminence, Mo. – A Mountain View man was arrested Thursday for possession of methamphetamine during a traffic stop in Texas County.
The arrest occurred at 8:30 p.m. on December 30, 2021. Donnie Downs, 52, was arrested by the Missouri State Highway Patrol for Felony Possession of Meth, Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana, Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and three Shannon County warrants. Downs was also cited for No Insurance, No Seat Belt, and having a Head Lamp Out.

He is being held in the Shannon County Jail and is available to bond out.
