The animal appeared to be fine and a separate nearby individual stated that the car had not been parked there very long. Call was cleared, but continued to monitor the animal. Was dispatched to the Anchor for a report of a gas drive-off that had happened several hours earlier. The clerk was provided with a statement for which they filled out and they were able to provide a plate number and the receipt showing the amount that had not been paid for. Cleared from the call and returned to service. Was contacted a short time later by the clerk who stated the individual had forgot to pay and returned to the store to pay for the fuel. No further action will be needed.

Was contacted by Donnie Johnson, the manager of the Senior Housing, requesting a check on a vehicle that was parked on the E. end of the parking lot. He was not aware why that vehicle was there and asked for an officer to make contact. Arrived on scene and the vehicle was not occupied. The vehicle was parked legally. Advised the manger that if he wanted the vehicle towed from the property, he would have to wait the amount of time allowed and then begin the process to having it removed. Time of contact was made for a reference point in the case of vehicle being towed.

Residents were told to keep their dogs on a leash when they are outside, so the neighbor’s aren’t afraid to take their animals out and so animal control does not need to be contacted.

Spoke with both parties and the female wanted the male to sober up before being around the daughter for the night. The male agreed to go to a friend’s house for the evening.
