Columbia, MO. – A Mountain View resident who was operating a semi-truck was seriously injured when they crashed on Thursday, reports the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The report states that this crash happened at 5:51pm. The 47-year-old male Mountain View resident was driving a 2007 Kenworth W9 semi truck when they failed to negotiate a turn on Route UU west of Columbia, Missouri. They then overturned and struck both a road sign and an electric pole.

The vehicle was totaled and the operator was transported to University Hospital in Boone County for further treatment of their serious injuries.
