A Missouri woman is facing multiple charges after being taken into custody late Monday night in Texas County. The Patrolman arrested 42‑year‑old Kayla A. Halterman of Eldridge on a series of felony and misdemeanor offenses following a traffic stop.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrest records, Halterman was booked on felony possession of a controlled substance, felony unlawful use of a weapon, and felony unlawful possession of a firearm. She also faces misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, along with two traffic violations: extensive window tint and failure to maintain the right half of the roadway.

Halterman is being held in the Texas County Jail on a 24‑hour hold.
