New details released by the Missouri State Highway Patrol confirm the victim of a crash in Winona was a six-year-old child. The 77-year-old male driver of the vehicle was flown to Mercy in Springfield in serious condition. The Missouri State Highway Patrol tells Ozark Radio News that the driver pulled into the path of an oncoming vehicle occupied by two teens from Eminence at the south junction of Highway 19 and U.S. Highway 60. The teens were taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment.
