According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, an accident involving a truck and a horse-drawn wagon occurred Sunday night near Alton.
A truck driven by James Collins, 53, of Alton, rear-ended a wagon driven by John Hostetler, 20, of Alton.

A passenger in the wagon, Lovina Hostetler, 17, was seriously injured and taken to Ozarks Medical Center (OMC) before being transferred to a Springfield hospital.
Another passenger, David Hostetler, 18, and John Hostetler, the driver, were taken to OMC with minor injuries.
Collins, the driver of the truck, was also taken to OMC with minor injuries.
The accident happened at 8:35 p.m. Sunday, on MO 19, one-mile north of Alton.
