West Plains, MO. – Missouri State University – West Plains has been officially in the Ozarks for 60 years now, and with that is a coming celebration: the Diamond Jubilee.
This event is set to happen tomorrow. Dakota Bates, the Associate Vice-Chancellor for University Communication, and Dennis Lancaster, the Chancellor of MSU-West Plains, stepped into the studio last week and spoke to Harlin Hutchison on his morning show on KDY to speak about this celebration.
This event will take place at the Campus Amphitheater next to the Campus Clocktower. Festivities will be begin at 5pm, and are expected to go to 8pm.
Included in this celebration will be a special performance by Dawson Hollow, bounce houses, lawn games, free snacks, and food trucks. In addition, the first 60 guests to attend will be receiving a free t-shirt.
