MSU-WP music program topic of Dec. 13 Friends of the Garnett Library meeting

WEST PLAINS, Mo. – Missouri State University-West Plains’s (MSU-WP) music program will be the topic of the Friends of the Garnett Library meeting from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, in the Carol Silvey Student Union at Hass-Darr Hall, 201 Garfield Ave., in West Plains.
            Director of Music Rocky Long will discuss the new program then will lead an ensemble of the program’s band members in a selection of holiday favorites, organizers said.
            Cost of the lunch is $10, payable at the door. Those wishing to eat should make a reservation by calling 417-255-7940 or emailing FriendsofGarnettLibrary@MissouriState.edu by Monday, Dec. 9.
            “Everyone is welcome to attend,” organizers said. “We welcome you as a guest, or you can find out about joining the organization at the meeting.”
