WEST PLAINS, Mo. – Officials at Missouri State University and Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP) are excited to announce that Dr. Robert Greim has joined the West Plains campus as its new director of development. In this role with the Missouri State University Advancement Office, Greim will focus primarily on serving the West Plains campus.
A two-time alumnus of Missouri State University (2000, 2002), Greim brings a wealth of educational experience to this position, having spent the last two decades in administration and teaching at various Missouri higher education institutions. Most recently, he was instrumental in establishing a high school program for autistic students at Liberty North High School in Liberty, Missouri. His commitment to education and development aligns perfectly with the university’s mission to foster growth and opportunity for students and the community, university officials said.
Brent Dunn, vice president for university advancement and executive director of the MSU Foundation remarked, “We’re pleased to have Robert join the university advancement team, and we look forward to working with him and the staff and faculty at MSU-WP to help continue the positive momentum for community engagement and private gift support.”
For the Greim family, this new position represents a homecoming. His wife, Jill (Brotherton), is a 1998 graduate of West Plains High School, further deepening their connection to the Ozarks region. Greim said he looks forward to reconnecting with the community and building relationships with former, current, and future supporters of the Grizzlies.
“It is a privilege to return to Missouri State and to contribute to the growth and success of the West Plains campus,” Greim said. “I’m excited to connect with alumni and supporters and to help further the mission of this incredible institution.”
MSU-WP Chancellor Dennis Lancaster also expressed his excitement about Greim’s arrival. “We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Robert Greim to the Missouri State-West Plains family. His impressive background in education, research and development will greatly benefit our students, alumni and community. We look forward to seeing the impact of his leadership and dedication to advancing the mission of our campus,” Lancaster said.
Greim can be reached by calling the West Plains University Advancement Office at 417-255-7240 or by email at RobertGreim@MissouriState.edu.
