Murder Suspect Charged With Drug Dealing

West Plains, Mo. – A West Plains man charged with murder in April has gained additional charges from the incident. Damian Paul Henry has been charged with three counts of Delivery Of Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams Or Less Of Marijuana Or Synthetic Cannabinoid following the events of April 5, 2022. 

Henry is charged with 1st Degree Murder and Armed Criminal Action following an incident on April 4, 2022. Witnesses reported that James Vineyard of West Plains had pulled a knife on another man who was present at the 14 Junction Truck Stop when Henry produced a gun and shot at Vineyard four times, resulting in Vineyard’s death.

Henry will stand trial for the murder charge on January 11, 2023 in Howell County. He will have a criminal setting for the delivery charges on December 5, 2022.
