Mountain View, Mo. – Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO), the sole supplier of blood and plasma to patients at 44 area healthcare facilities, needs blood for local use. The organization reports a less than a three-day supply of all type O blood types, but all donations are needed to help build back reserves after the holidays. Blood drives around the CBCO service region serve a vital function in preserving the good health of our community.
CBCO donors provide all the blood for patients at dozens of healthcare facilities across the Ozarks. Mountain View area residents will have the opportunity to donate at the following location:
Mountain View Community Blood Drive
Community Center – Community Room
125 W. 1st Street, Mountain View
Friday, January 7 – 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM
Successful donors will receive a soft and warm CBCO Hoodie, while supplies last, perfect for the cold days ahead. Donors can also take the “56-Day Challenge” to have a chance to win a $1,000.00 VISA gift card, thanks to a generous donation from the Adam Swenka Team at Flat Branch Home Loans.
