West Plains, MO. – Nine people have been charged with misdemeanors in Ozark County for actions done during the firearm portion of the Missouri deer hunting season. The 2022 main firearm portion of deer season in Missouri started on November 12 and ran through November 22. The following are the individuals charged:
Kendall R. Denton of Bakersfield, MO. is charged with Take, Attempt to Take, or Pursue Wildlife with Aid of Artificial Light.
Jonathan H. Belt of Bakersfield, Missouri is charged with Take, Attempt to Take, or Pursue Wildlife with Aid of Artificial Light.
Klayton P. Marsh of Bakersfield, Missouri is charged with Take, Attempt to Take, or Pursue Wildlife with Aid of Artificial Light.
Guy F. Buckley and Calin B. Buckley, both of Kentwood, Louisiana, are charged with Take or Attempt to Take Deer with Bait.
Samantha Leyendecker of Kentwood, Louisiana is charged with Take, Attempt to Take, and/or Possess Deer Without Deer Permit-Non Resident.
Sherri R. Goodwyn of Nowthen, Minnesota, is charged with three counts of Misc. Deer Violations of 3 Csr-10-7.431 and two counts of Take, Attempt to Take, and/or Possess Deer Without Deer Permit-Non Resident.
Andrew J. Lamers of Isle, Minnesota is charged with Take, Attempt to Take, and/or Possess Deer Without Deer Permit-Non Resident.
Colton L. Hall of Ava, Missouri is charged with Take, Attempt to Take, or Pursue Wildlife From or With a Motor Driven Air, Land, or Water Conveyance.
All suspects should be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
