Norwood Man Air-Lifted to Springfield After Overturn Crash

Mountain Grove, MO. – One Norwood man was seriously injured this past Friday after an overturn crash that totaled his vehicle.

According to Trooper Poynter from the Highway Patrol, this crash took place at 12:32pm on Highway ZZ near Mountain Grove. Trey Walker, a 32-year-old man from Norwood, ran off the left side of the roadway while traveling eastbound. The Pontiac G6 he was driving was then totaled as it struck the embankment and overturned.

Several agencies responded to the accident, including the Mountain Grove Fire Department and the Wright County Sheriff’s Office. Walker was seriously injured, and air ambulance services were called to take him to Cox South in Springfield for critical care.
